Purdue University is in the Big Game

By The Legend 27

AUM News Weekly has just received this very interesting contribution and is now publishing it as such with very few minor edits. Food for thought, dear readers!
This university (AUMNewsWeekly Note: AUM) is getting more and more desperate every single day. They are swallowing students by the thousands and have no employees to back it up. No PhD teachers are even applying. All the applicants are very weak. Fresh graduates who either haven’t researched the place well or they had no other choice. The Purdue affiliation thing is one of the biggest scams in history. Just like Trump University in the United States. The contract has been made public. AUM, everything is out there. Even the students are out there talking about the blogs and laughing about what a joke this university has been all along. All these ads are out there to cover the twisted education system that it has turned into.

And now, since AUM is doing an illegal and unauthorized “investigation” and unethical hiding of their dark secrets, also, auditors got interested in the actions of AUM. They started investigating. And what did they find? Delicious pies. Absolutely delicious pies. You can smell it so easily.

In this link you will find the financial report of Purdue of 2016:

https://www.purdue.edu/bot/meeting-documents/2016/dec/aic/annual%20financial%20report.pdf

The auditors have seen that the contract between AUM and “Purdue” have a 1 million USD commitment per year. Alright, let’s see where is that money… oh wait… The financial report does not mention any 7 digit numbers. Not under non-operating revenue or any other contract revenue. Where did the money go? If AUM still claims that it has an affiliation with Purdue, it means that the money is still being paid. But even in 2014 and 2015, the money is not there. Why??? Where is the money??? Where did it go??? This is the big question. Could it be that people from inside Purdue management have got in The Big Game? Are they new characters or new Houses that are involved in this war. Well, logically thinking, a university such as Purdue won’t give affiliation that easily. They have to be involved in the research and of course gaining money and a percentage of revenue by AUM. But no, Human Soft is enjoying a 54 Million KWD equivalent to 170 Millions USD in 2016 alone. Imagine if Purdue and the Government of the United States know about this scam that is happening. 10% of that money can finance all the research at Purdue. So, what if someone who was close to AUM, who somehow saw an opportunity, to have a win-win situation with an unknown educational institute that can easily call itself “American” at the Ministry of Commerce of Kuwait because somehow, American Education should be worshiped and people would be easily persuaded. Hey, it’s an opportunity. Who would miss that? They can do small unnoticed actions at Purdue and divide the money between few people who know that they won’t harm the respected Purdue University. But what they don’t know is that they are in the big game now. They can’t leave. They are avoiding all connections now. Because if they were caught, they would be in court in the USA.

The game is much bigger than everyone thinks. There are a lot of things that are hidden. Very very dark secrets. Someone should write reports to all the media in the US, call all the newspapers, all the magazines. They would love a story like that. Purdue itself has to be investigated. The people have to know. AUM needs to be sold or managed by someone else who is a professional academic and a professor. But first the curtains have to go down to reveal more dark secrets.

Sincerely,
The Legend 27

Living in a fish bowl 24/7 is the newest fad at AUM

Our reporters spoke to a few AUMers who were leaving for the holidays. They have reported that the newest fad at AUM is spending all of your day in your fishbowl office.

“It all started with my neighbour who had an informal contest with one of the new guys. They bet 150 KD on how long they can spend in their glass offices without coming out,” one veteran says. “I have been here for 105 days now, 5 days past probation, and I consider myself a real veteran. But I have not seen anything like it. By the next day, one of them had already had breakfast, lunch and dinner in his office, and the other had managed to find a way of napping without getting noticed by the cameras. They gave one another breaks to go and shower in the gym.”

“When AUM put the new glass offices up, we all hated the idea. Imagine the lack of privacy! Because AUM encourages innovative research, I spent several months researching my colleagues’ toilet-going patterns. As my transparent office happened to be in front of the men’s toilet, I had a very good sample of subjects and I could gather big data. We even have the technology now to treat this big data! And now that I have grown to understand them better, through my top-notch research, I am very thankful to actually be sitting in a glass office, rather than a normal one,” another veteran claimed.

“Indeed, transparent offices are proven to increase productivity, efficiently and effectively, as well as kindly,” the winner of the office-sitting contest explained to our reporter. “I have now mastered the art of using all adverbs favoured by AUM management because I can appropriately and professionally see the screen of my neighbour who happens to be in middle management.”

Recent rumors claim that the Provost has proposed a new award to be distributed to AUM faculty – The Transparent Office Excellence Award. It is to be attributed to faculty who have managed to sit in their transparent office for the longest period of time from one academic year to the next. We believe that this will certainly motivate everyone and boost their morale. This award will come in replacement of the university-level excellence awards as their recipients have, until now, proven highly unreliable and have for this reason been terminated with immediate effect.

Commenting on our blog posts – How to

If you would like to comment on a post, please go ahead and do so. The comments are moderated to filter AUM spamming us. AUM have paid a couple of incapable IT “specialists” from India to “hack” the blogs. Among their chief occupation is the posting of spam. That is why our comments sections are closed. You can still comment and we will approve the comments as they come.

If you wish to post a longer piece of work, post it as a comment under any post and indicate that you would like it to become a regular post.

If you wish to give us information, you can post it under any post and indicate that you wish to remain private. We will post the information from an anonymous source in a post that will be compiled with information from other people, so that you can remain anonymous.

We want to keep the privacy of people as much as possible. We want truth, so please no lies or misinformation. We do like funny posts, jokes and clever come-backs, so humour and ridicule is OK!

AUM now taking education to a whole new level

According to a paid commercial article in Forbes Middle East, AUM is taking education in Kuwait to “another level“. Yes, it is – to another level of illiteracy, judging by the skills of the copywriter… The article is a very weak attempt at advertising the university that pales in comparison to the blogs that everyone contributes to. AUM, it might be a good idea to improve your website instead of tracking bloggers.

For its comeback, AUM News Weekly has interviewed an inmate of the institution who claims that The Man Himself is a regular client of Forbes Middle East. It seems that Fahad paid for a couple of articles, as well as a gold medal, which no one at the university has seen, but select few, and which was delivered to him to decorate his office. Pictures of this medal can be found on the AUM Media Matrix but have never been shared publicly with staff. Why not? Should this not be something to be proud of? Not when you buy it with money, rather than genuine contribution!

We contacted Forbes Middle East to inquire about their articles on AUM. It turns out that all of these articles were commercial material. Press releases were sent by AUM. AUM was not contacted by journalists. Actually, AUM paid for these publications. Do not trust AUM when they boast about how papers and magazines write about them. All of this is press releases sent by AUM. The papers publish them either because

1. they had no other material and this was a welcome addition that was already written by someone at AUM or

2. they got paid to publish it.

Seems like Fahad’s greatest preoccupation has always been to shine like the great man he thinks he is. The same professor we spoke to at AUM reported to us that Fahad told the managerial team that he would like to personally deal with anyone publishing online. In case you are among the fearful who think he is too powerful and can do anything to you, this is an illusion. This guy is a master illusionist. If there is an investigation of AUM, the place will fall fast. The recent campaign of AUM wishing happy birthday to the Amir is an example of how scared the institution is and how much it hopes to project a clean face. They hope that with flattery, they will continue to abuse workers’ rights. In fact, nobody knows where Fahad’s money comes from. There is a lack of transparence in his own finances and much as there is a lack of clarity about AUM budget allocation.

List of Accusations by Rumors

AUM News Weekly received some updates via our correspondents whose e-mail addresses we published in previous posts. We are posting one of them below. We have some more of these posts on the go. Be sure to check our blog later on. We are aware that ACMAUMReview has gone private. Do not be afraid to follow their blog privately. They have NOT been hacked. They cannot see your IP addresses and cannot track you if you follow them. These are all rumors. WordPress is one of the safest blog spaces out there and it harbours many activists and people who believe in spreading the truth.

Congrats to the newly terminated ex-AUMers! Fight for your indemnities and good luck in your real life! Bear in mind that you will now hear all sorts of lies about yourselves. Do not pay any attention to that! It is a well-known fact that after AUM terminates faculty, AUM management launch rumors about the terminated people. Here is a list of some accusations that AUM has spread about ex-colleagues of yours!

  1. Writing blogs: AUM terminated many people and accused them of blog writing. They had no proof of that and did it solely based on conjecture. Someone shared with us that AUM claimed to be leading an investigation against them. This cannot happen in Kuwait. AUM cannot investigate anyone and cannot take on its own the role of police. AUM proceeded to announce that it has filed lawsuits against some terminated faculty. This also is a lie. (Note by AUM NEWS Weekly: Some of the rumors say the first to be terminated last academic year were the owners of this and other blogs. This is not true. We have always operated independently of AUM. We only have insiders there.)
  2. Stealing money: It is impossible to steal money through requisition forms when you are faculty. In fact, it is Procurement who usually steal money by arranging themselves with the provider companies who ask higher prices and then divide the gains with insiders from Procurement. Some of the terminated faculty has discovered this scheme and informed management.
  3. Putting their name on someone else’s publication or publishing unethically: while this is true for the Hookah Master, it is not universally true for the other people accused of it.
  4. Trying to promote friends: in the case of HODs, you should know that they have no power to promote anyone. HODs can only recommend, and even in those cases, it is not certain that their wishes are taken into account.
  5. Close contacts with students: By university rule, faculty cannot add students on social media or take their phone numbers. They can only contact them via Moodle or Student Affairs. SA are slow and incompetent. There have been cases of competitions and other events when faculty had no way of contacting students. This has resulted in students not showing up to events, etc. Due to malfunctioning university rules, AUM often blames faculty when students do not show up for events, while faculty cannot do anything about it. In some cases, AUM have gone nuts and accused faculty of visiting students’ homes.

You should not believe any of the rumors you hear. Many of them are spread by AUM management themselves. There are cases where deans spread rumors through faculty, knowing that it will get around quickly. They call someone in, ask them a few questions and have a “friendly” chat. Then, they plant the rumor.

Later on next week we will reveal how AUM tracks ex faculty and present faculty online and how they follow you with fake profiles on LinkedIn. Be sure to check our blog daily.

Purdue Affiliation!

Our reporters have inquired about AUM’s Purdue affiliation.
Here is what Purdue have replied to us:

From: Arola, Heidi
08.XX.20XX at 11:30

Dear Professor XXXXXXXXXX

Purdue does have an affiliation agreement with AUM which means that we provide faculty consultants to assist AUM design, implement and assess curricula. We are not involved in their daily affairs nor are we involved in their hiring practices. We do not currently have a credit transfer or direct faculty exchange program.

I hope this answers your questions.

Kind regards, Heidi
